Are protected from abuse whilst participating in the activities of the Association;
BLTA accepts the responsibility to take reasonable and appropriate steps to ensure their welfare, As part of our safeguarding policy BLTA will:
Promote and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of children and adults at risk;
Ensure everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities in respect of safeguarding;
Ensure appropriate action is taken in the event of incidents/concerns of abuse, and support provided to the individual who raise or disclose the concern.
Young People & Twinning
One of the main aims of the association is to increase the number of young people who participate in and benefit from twinning activities with all our twin towns.
There are opportunities which offer students a chance experience a different life in a different country as well as to practice a foreign language.
During our events, friendships are built and ideas are collected on how our network can grow.
